Just finished a Daystar 2.5/1.5

I took before pics, but didn't take afters yet. I will be sure to put them up tomorrow morning.

Install was very easy. Picked up all of our missing tools from Advanced Auto Parts. Started at 9am finished before 12:30 PM.

The truck looks really good and drives the exact same as stock, but I have one concern. Look at my ground to fender numbers

Stock:
Front R - 33 3/4"
Front L - 33 3/4"
Rear R - 36"
Rear L - 36"

Daystar installed:
Front R - 37 1/4"
Front L - 37 1/4"
Rear R - 37 1/2"
Rear L - 37 1/2"

So why am I getting 3.5" of lift in the front?

It will settle some, mine did. I would guess an inch or so.

amazon.com has the kit for a pretty good price.

By the kit through Wheelers off road and get the 6pc kit , not the 4 pc one.

Maybe not the cheapest place , but knowledgeable and good service . IMO you don't want to buy stuff at the cheapest place since you have no support . Just my .02

It will also settle even more once the tires are aligned. Right now the lower part of the tire is sucked in which will also lift a little bit. I lost almost a half inch after the alignment.

Tires are new 265/65/R18 Goodyear Triple Treads.

Whats the difference between a 6pc vs 4pc kit?

The front spacers with a 4pc kit are 2 top-out spacers that sit on top of the strut assembly... between the assembly and body. The front spacers with a 6pc kit are 2 smaller top-out spacers like the 4pc and 2 additional spacers that go in the strut assembly on top of the coil. This set-up adds a bit of pre-load to the springs and can result in a firmer ride. It also requires that you disassemble the strut assembly.
