I just got a 1995 4Runner with 144,000 miles on it (ok, so my parents got it for me). I've been driving SUV's since I started driving, but didn't get into the specifics of them and actualy working on them till I got my 1982 CJ7. Well, it's dead now, hense why I have the 4Runner. I've got a few questions about them that I hope you guys can answer for me. It's got the V6 and is 4WD. Questions:
What kind of axles? (Front's IFS if I remember correctly)
What kind of T-Case?
How hard is a V8 swap?
What's the biggest tire I can put on without lifting or regearing?
What's the best suspension lift?
What companies focus on Toyota and 4Runner off road accesories (lifts, engine stuff, lockers)?

Thanks for any help,
Marc

Hey i'm in the same situation as you, my 93 limited, i jus got recnetly and i'm looking at possible sum mods after i finish repairing the motor and gettin the body all cleaned up in the spring. I have 31" tires and love how beefy they look on stock height. Do you have a brush/Grille Guard on yours? I think those give the front end a GREAT off-road look and help out along the way!

heres a site that seems to have sum stuff that you may be looking for:

Good Luck, and where abouts of Cincinati are you? I'm about 20 min west of Cleavland. Later
