Just got my 4runner

Picked up an 06 4runner, v8, 4wd, sport, jbl w/ 83,000 on the odo.:lookout:

I came from an 06 is350 which is a completely different ride all together.

My first mod will be a lift with toytech ultimates which should arrive tomorrow and install HIDS on lows/fogs.
Next up will be tires. I've been looking at goodyeah duratrac but what other options do I have that could be as capable for cheaper?
I'll eventually get a CB radio, front bumper(w/ winch) but that's a while to come since it's pretty expensive. Maybe throw in navi and upgrade the stock sub. I will also be camping with this thing and make a custom bed platform for this over the summer or spring break.

Any suggestions you guys have would be awesome. I've been reading this forum religiously for the past month or so and learning the in's and outs of everything.

Welcome to the club. You're going to love your 4Runner. My only suggestion is to make sure you get your timing belt changed at 90k or shortly thereafter. If you're going to do a lot to your 4Runner make sure you document before and after pics and if you're doing the work yourself take pics. Everyone on this site loves to see them - maybe even start yourself a build thread.

very nice! how is the adjustment from the IS? i went from a G35 coupe to 4R and it was a welcomed change for me.

my advice is to swap your titanium/chrome grill for a limited one... i got mine from toyota for like $150 and it makes such a difference. much sharper.

I got a little tired of driving a small car and wanted to start going out on trails and camping more. I love it though.
