Where did you buy? How did the install go?
I am still debating this mod. Not sure how loud it will be under a load/towing for several hundred miles.

very nice. I'm contemplating on getting an exhaust system right now and the top 2 contenders are the Magnaflow and the Gibson. I created a Poll asking what members thought too so hopefully I'll get more opinions.
Honestly, I'm leaning towards the Magnaflow just because I'm more familiar with the name.

Gibson exits just like the Magnaflow with the exception that it has 1 tip, not two like the Magnaflow.

A note about volume increase with towing...
I had a beafy flowmaster installed a few months ago. I don't know why I waited so long. Not so loud that it gets annoying, but not so quite so all you here is the engine. I've had several compliments on the sound. The only way to sum it up is to say it sounds like it should.
Anyway... I tow a 5k lb boat around 40 miles (ea way) every weekend. There is absolutely a difference... I might say around a 40% increase in volume. It is tollerable for a 40 mile distance... maybe even 100 miles. I pretty much forget about the increased loudness. I'd say if it were another 20% louder, I don't think I could forget about it.
Would I change anything??? No way.

It must not be that famous, as I haven't heard of it, and i don't hear it now. I can tell this... when i'm doing city driving, and cruising at 45 or 50, I can barely tell I have anything other than a stock exhaust. On the highway, between 60 and 70 (rare... usually just above 70), you can hear it. It isn't a drone, it just a louder exhaust. Pulling the boat... it gets CLOSE to droning.. but still easily tolerable. I had a 98 camaro V6 prior w/ a flowmaster (not sure which one), and wow... it had a terrible drone. 4runner sounds great!
Sound is tough to describe. I might ATTEMPT to record it this weekend.. but no promises.
I got the 50 Series SUV Performance - Three Chamber Muffler.
Check out the soundclips at flowmaster.com. The ignition portion of the clip below sounds EXACTLY like the 4runner starting up.

Listen to the clip of the 50 series SUV muffler. This sounds like the 4runner when it accelerates. Couldn't find one that matched the 4runner when reving the engine...

So since not many have the Gibson other than the guy that prototyped it, I went with the Magnaflow

$80 for the muffler on ebay, $65 for the labor.
Labor - cut of resonator, fabricate pipe to turn out toward the side, install new muffler w/ new hangers.
I was quoted about $200 from a big named muffler company... the 65 was from a small, but highly recommended muffler shop.
Really cheap considering the benefits... (in my opinion)
