Hey there people!!!
My name is Rocco and I just picked up my first Toyota 4Runner.
1990 SR5 V6 Autotragic!!
I been a car guy for a very very long time but I recently moved to Reno and it's hard to drive a lowered Honda here in the winter. I also just turned 32 and this was a bday/xmas gift to myself...I guess we all gotta grow up sometime right!?!? lols
For the most part this truck is pretty solid and clean. My main concern is that my o/d...or maybe lock up on the transmission is intermittent. It will work but after about 10-15 minutes of driving it drops down a gear and it won't go back in. If i park for a few minutes and restart it, it will go back into gear but eventually does the same thing.
Being that it's pretty cold up here, and from what I've been reading, it could be a temperature thing or even a solenoid.
Anyone have any input to guide me in the right direction?
