That gas tank skid plate looks great! Much stronger than the competition.
Too bad those rock sliders don't fit over the KDSS system.
I like the paint can trigger. Very clean. What kind of paint did you use. I'm good at painting wood but not steel so I'm clueless as to what I'd need. Thanks.

Thank you! I will have KDSS compatible sliders soon. I am working with a forum member to get all the proper measurements as to where the KDSS parts are located.

I believe Eddie used Rustoleum primer and Gun Metal Gray for the top coat.

Steel needs to be de-greased and scuffed up first for paint to adhere the best. primer is important for sure. A "self etching" primer is usually best for steel. I like to do a couple coats of primer, then couple coats of color, and then i think Eddie even used a clear coat to top it off.

Thanks for asking. I had a busy weekend so I didn't get a chance to look. I also don't have the rock sliders or gas tank skid to paint yet, so it may have to wait.
Fortunately, I have a ton of work to get done. Once its done and I get paid I'll have the bucks to get started. Your gas tank skid will be the one I'll be looking to buy.
