Hello everyone. I am new to the site and wanted to introduce myself and tell a little about about me. I'm a Southern California native who just moved to Northwestern Minnesota. I've had a few suvs in the past including an 86 Bronco 2, two full-size Broncos( 86,91 ), a 77 Jeep CJ5, and most recently an 88 Jeep Cherokee.
I realized I was going to need a 4x4 vehicle up here in the snow so I began searching craigslist. I had a pretty small budget and decent 4x4s don't seem to last long on craigslist in my area. I found an ad for an 84 4runner and after calling on it and not hearing "sorry its sold" I quickly went and scooped it up.. Its my first Toyota, first 4cyl, and first carbureted vehicle so I'm looking forward to learning a lot.
I've had the 4runner for only a day but I'm very happy with the purchase and I'm super excited to make it my own. Thanks to everyone in advance for the help and advice I receive from your pool of knowledge. I've already gotten so much.
Couple details: 1984, 270k miles, 5spd, all electronics work, no rust on frame and very little on the body, body is in great shape, leather interior is thrashed and power steering needs to be fixed
