New head from Engnblr.com & LCE header

Timing chain, head gasket, a little of this & a little of that.

Oh yeah, now powered by Jaguar. Did the alternator swap. Haven't started it up yet, so we'll see how it all works out.

Did the Jag alt drop right in? Got a part # for reference sake?

Autozone #13230

'94 Jaguar XJ6, has the same round 3 wire connection has stock Toyota. Used existing brackets, no trail gear modified brackets needed. Had to swap pulley from serp to v. Also had to move the metal coolant line since it was blocking the 3 wire connector (used a 1" stand-off to move it out toward wheel).

Cranked up for first time yesterday but haven't really checked it out. 1 more coolant leak to address.

So I finally put some miles on her after the build. Nice smooth idle. Cranks right up. Power wise, hard to tell. It's still a 22re and I drive a BRZ when I'm not in this, so......

But let me tell you, the Jag alternator is the way to go. A little expensive out of the box since you have to pay for the core but then it has a lifetime warranty and can be picked up locally, usually. 14V at idle!

Now I have to fill her up & check mileage, not that it really matters to me and then it will be off to the trails.

Ooh! Nice specs on the alternator! 120 amps? That's almost as good as my meangreen alternator at 140A, but about $140.00 cheaper than what I paid for the MG (assuming you paid the core instead of turning one in)!

Nice top half too from Enginebldr! That guy's been doing Toyota's right for a helluva long time! You will not be disappointed with his quality!
