I say de-badge, and remove the crummy stick on carbon fiber stuff on the interior. Then lift and bigger tires and poof PURE AWESOMENESS!

Not dogging on your buy, it is a well taken care of 4Runner. However (and call me on it, anybody, if i'm wrong), there is no such thing as an "X-SP" 4Runner. Mostly everything done too that truck is aftermarket (exhaust, rims, dash kit, bumper guard, seat covers/new seat upholstery, etc.).
Just telling you in case anybody tricked you into paying extra for those aftermarket "upgrades", hopefully this is not the case.
From what I have seen/read, I believe the X-SP were upgrades performed by a dealership in Georgia to a few 4Runners and Tacomas. Not sure how many were sold / made.
Any 4Runner owner could purchase the same upgrades and install them themself, and call it an X-SP, I suppose.
that's what i thought so too.. never heard of an x-sp... and looking at those rims, they would have to be aftermarket.. what sizes are those anyway?

I looked for a 4wd XSP forever. Very rare. People in the south just don't get 4wd that often, and with the extra cost of the XSP package and 4wd you are in 2wd Limited price range. How many miles and how much? I ended getting a 4wd SR5 and buying the Enkei wheels to make my own sorta XSP. I almost ordered the same tires as you have, but went with the Cooper Discoverer H/T Plus. Yours has the Eclipse Nav, that is also a nice addition. FYI on the XSP since I did a bunch of research. It is port installed by Southeast Toyota before it is shipped to the dealer. All of the "aftermarket" parts are covered by the original warranty since they are sold this way which is a bonus over installing yourself aftermarket. Along with this, the dealers can also order all those items since they are considered Toyota parts, albeit at their ridiculous markup prices. Since they are only sold throughout the south, most of them do not make it out of the area, but a few from lease turn ins and auctions get spread out and then people in other parts of the country get totally confused. I see quite a few in Alabama of all colors. Urs is nice, enjoy it.

There are quite a few of those down here in FL, but I dont think I have ever seen a 4wd one either. It is rare to see any 4wd SUV here in FL! (unless it has a license plate from another state).
How do you like the Borla? I love the look of the dual exhaust and would love to find someone taking it off an xsp sometime and buy it used

Well , I bought a X-Sp 08' Tundra in North Caroline in Feb. 08' and I saw some 4runners also at that time .

I agree, many in Florida, most 2wd. I looked at them. Southeast Toyota wanted a 'sporty' offering that out-jazzed the Sport Edition for less money. They start with a SR5 and dress it up. When I got mine I wasn't as knowledgeable as I am now. In hindsight it would've been a great choice. At the time I saw it as a no XREAS, no 13.2" front brake Sport wannabe but I liked it. (I know it lacks the cool hood.) Many of the 2wd ones I recall are sans sunroof which is cool too if your a tall person.
I now realize the brakes/XREAS shouldn't be a deal breaker if the goal is to do some mods. If you're bent on the brakes that's easy and cheap, if you want to do any suspension mods or drive it 200k miles the XREAS loses some of it's appeal.

It has about 60K on the clock and I bought it for around $20k with an additional 3 year - 36,000 warranty on it. I bought the truck from a Toyota dealership here in Nebraska, from the looks of the Carfax, the original owner bought it from the Toyota Mall of Georgia and then moved up here and traded it in to the dealership.
I don't even know if the dealership knew what the X-SP package was.
