Nice job! Looking forward to seeing more pics. This time of year its good to see a nice, clean modded 4Runner. My most recent mod is layers of salt and sand and negative integers on the temp gauge. :bash:

Recently got those wheels for $300, i like it, it totally changed the looks of the truck. It came off a 2004 tundra.

Next mod would probably be a k&n intake but i'm still debating if it's gonna be worth the $200 for a pipe and a filter.

I'm trying to look for some more DIY for now so i could still have fun without breaking the bank:biggrin2:

DRLs? Wood grain interior (steering wheel, shifter knob), install lights on step board (really want/need lights on stepboard like the GX!)? lots of possibilities pare!

Put some Filipino DIY stuffs (but they may look a little "ghetto" lol) like, the third mirror (or a 3rd and 4th, a lot of filipinos in the philippines do that), extra fog lamps, chrome strips, or an old school backup mirror (no not the ones that we already have, but those that hang out from the rear, lol remember those?)

Btw are those Tundra rims the EXACT size as the 4Runner's 17"?

hahaha, yeah i remember those backup hanging mirrors... the tundra wheels are exactly the same size, i know the tundra wheels are 7.5 in width but for some reason my 4runner looks more bulky and seems like it has a wider stance. I'm still thinking about the DRL's, i'm planning on doing the foglight mod, i just recently installed the K&N intake and "man does it growl" sounds like a V8 killa but NOT! LOL I would love to have lights on my stepboard but i have no clue on where to start and how i would go about on making it happen..

probably the design of the rim makes the stance look wider. lol. lookin good though bro. I think i saw u today. lol lol. I actually saw u after i turned left from fowler onto herndon because i saw ur chrome side mirros (i guess it works!) and i still can't force myself to drive the 4R on a day that would rain. lol. i have no idea on putting lights on the stepboard, aside from cutting out the holes and putting in the lights and wire it up.

LOL I remember those from my childhood! My uncle had one of those full size Ford vans with the ladder in the back plus mostly everything you mentioned. Don't forget the rosary on the rear view mirror and the towels on the headrests! Those are a dime a dozen up here in Daly City.

thanks mark, i got some 6000K HID's on the headlight and regular hella on the fogs, just bought some 4" round pair of film from lamin-x to make the fogs yellow and i'm lovin' it

Btw, you did mention that you swapped out your rims from a 04 Tundra? Would that Tundra happen to be a white, Double Cab (4 Door) Tundra? I saw a white double cab tundra like a month ago, and what caught my attention was that it had the 17" 4Runner SR5 rims on it. Would those happen to be yours?? lol.

Damn, now I feel obliged to clean up and wax my baby. Yours looks so clean, I feel that mine's dirty (even though I still haven't used it in rain!) because I haven't washed it in like 3 weeks. :bash:

btw, on that last picture, that street looks familiar. it's a little blurry but is it going south on First st in between Friant and Cole st??? Maybe not but looks familiar. Wonder why.....

I'm not too sure on the wheels, maybe who knows? eh? I sold those wheels to somebody from san fernando valley, unless that tundra owner came here in fresno for something...

Thanks for the compliments man, i try to keep the 4runner cleaned at least once a week but it doesn't happen so whenever i really get a chance i clean it really good It's hard to freakin' live in an apartment, can't clean whenever i want to... can i come by at your house and clean hahaha

On the last picture, yes sir you are correct that is on first st just pass friant ave coming from woodward park.. oh and btw i saw your 4runner over by first and bullard one time... you were the only 4runner that had the DRL done on the SR5 here so figured it was yours... :

We should meet up man and bring your 4runner, gotta do a photoshoot.. woodward park would be a nice location...

first and bullard sounds right. That's my dojo. I know that the DRLs are a big give-away. lol. MY friend who's also a car fanatic (but drives a Volvo S40) knows when it's my 4Runner because of the DRLs.

Well the license plates only becomes an issue when the cops pull you over for speeding. Otherwise, if you're within the limit, are wearing a seatbelt, they won't pull you over for no front plates and front tint.

Yea we should have a photoshoot sometime. Next week? Weekend? I'm off from school starting Thurs and will be going back on Apr 16. Let me know so we can shoot both of our 4Runners together !:beer: :biggrin2:

sure bring ur car over to my house. my neighbors are used to seeing me clean a car every so often so they don't mind. i just hope they won't go crazy when they see a red 4Runner on my driveway being cleaned cuz they'd all go crazy! As i mentioned before, my new neighbor moved in and she has an 06 white ltd 4runner. slightly across my house, that lady has a 06 silver SR5 4wd 4runner. Plus you've got me. :bigok:
