I'm hating this. If I could get out of this Camry for a decent stock 3rd gen without losing my ass I would in a heartbeat. I got most of the options but this thing still sucks. Holy crap did I make a mistake. I miss that truck every day and cannot wait to get out of this and back into building.

I had some possible theories:
1) wife made you (always a terrible reason; I would get a new GF/wife before selling my truck)
2) gambling addition

Anyways, since I believe it is always cheaper to fix a great running older car than buy a new one, I don't understand why people switch.

I am driving my rig until it dies but I am buying a used Camry as a day driver and second car ($6-7k used) this August. I planned on buying one July 15th but then I had some engine problems and my finances took a dive.

Cuz i did the same thing. Sold a 98 3rd gen and bought a 06 subaru forester XT. That lasted 2 years before i sold it and bought a 00' 3rd gen. It was really easy to forget i ever owned that subaru

I got rid of my 3rd gen and bought a Z-71 Sierra. Sold it 3 months later and went back to my 3rd gen. Now I'm contemplating getting rid of my 3rd gen and buying a lower mileage 3rd gen just so I can stay in one for longer. I love this vehicle.

You don't need to sell it. Just keep the maintenance up on it and it should last for many thousands of miles.:lookout:
