So what started as "It is time for new tires." Ended up with: "This is a good deal for these wheels and tires." and then "Doesn't fit, guess I'll need to lift." With a nod from the old lady I ended up with this. Ball joint spacers, rear add-a-leaf, Rough County shocks, unknown rims and Toyo Open County A/Ts (285/75R17s). Stepped up from 33x9.50 R15 BF Goodrich A/Ts.

Those 2nd generation 4runner rims look good on them 1st generation 4runners.

Looks great, crutchy! Gives it a nice beefy look. Those wheels look like ProComps.

Thanks for the compliments guys and don't worry the awesome 80s graphics are there to stay. It kind of completes the package in my eyes. Next I just want to do a snorkel, sliders and a rear bumper (just not a tube style). At that point I think I'll be done on the outside.

I thought the 2nd gen wheels looked pretty good on there too TN_GIJOE, but for the price I picked of the current wheels and tires at it wasn't worth powder coating them. Now I just have to find the old ones a good home.
