First of all I'm so jealous of you moving to Colorado. Wish I could tag along.

But for now I wanted to ask what are you hauling on top of the Honda with the Thule setup?

Hey buddy, long time no talk to!! Well, once we get a house up there we'll have a spare bedroom or two and encourage all our friends to come stay and visit

As for the roof rack. Nothing as of yet. The car has been down since I put it up there. However, since it will be my daily driver, once I do get it going, there's not much room to haul stuff inside the car. If I ever need to haul big items I can do so. Will also come in handy when moving to CO (skis, snowboard, etc..)

Well congrats to you as well! We haven't solidified a location. Maybe somewhere between Denver and CO Springs. Mainly b/c most job opportunities for me will be in the city and hers will be in CO Springs. There's a few of you guys on here I will definitely have to hit up when we move out that way.

There is some decent public land around Fort Collins for sure. Gets hammered pretty hard on weekends though.

What's your deal with wheels? Why are you selling the beadlocks?

They each have a bit of lateral runout so they don't run truly straight. Which causes them to have a little wobble at certain speeds. Mainly around 50 and 65. They are a bit overkill with the amount of wheeling I do right now. However, if they rode a little better I probably wouldn't hesitate to keep them. The still ride fine, as I drive the truck every day 70+ mph, I'm just wanting a smoother ride again. I'm currently on the waiting list for some SCS SR8's to replace them... Vin just announced today the order got pushed back 3 freaking weeks! out: :crybaby:

Its CO, there is good hunting all the way down the entire Rocky Mountain Range.

Just a sneak peek of what I been up to lately..

Most of you on the facebook and instagram 4Runner groups has seen these photos (they've been shared to death lol) but here they are for the rest of you guys

On a side note, my truck just hit 190k. So between now and the big 200k mark I'm going to be doing a huge overhaul. Everything from as simple as changing fluids down to replacing valve cover gaskets. Front co's need to be rebuilt and I probably should look into having my rear hubs rebuilt with new bearings, seals, brakes, etc... Nothing fun, I know, but it's just part of it. Gotta keep'er goin' strong!

In other news...

My recently acquired new daily driver, Stella, has been giving me issues. I wont go into all the details but it ultimately lead to a blown head gasket. Really sucks!! Luckily I think I got a good deal on the car and it's really clean so putting money into it seems like an ok thing instead of just getting rid of it. And maybe also b/c I have connections everywhere so I'm getting good work done for good price

Plans for car: New head gasket, remilled head, new water pump, new timing belt, new fluids, new plugs, new wires, and maybe other odds and ends. You can see from the pictures that it was time for a break down. Car ought to be running really good after this. Fingers crossed. Here's some pics.

To lighten the mood a little bit I did manage to find a nice complete rack setup for Stella. These don't come around often (all major brands discontinued) and are really hard to find. Thule setup with extension, locks, keys, and fairing. For a steal!

Not much going on with the 4Runner at the moment. I got the window replaced quickly. A buddy of mine out of town had a spare window and my fiance just happened to be where it was. So she brought it back and I got it put in that next day. A lot cheaper than I expected, thank god. I still happened to put some nice dents in the truck. I'll take some pictures and post them later. Future plans (after I recoup from the car) will be to fix up both my rear spare hub assemblies so I have a fresh rear setup and no more leaky seals ruining everything.

Stella has a nice rack! Woo hoo!
