Yea, it's still covered pretty well. I get very limited debris flung around when offroad. Any wider I probably wouldn't like it.
I haven't really decided yet. The ODL ones look exactly like the style I have now, which I like. But Im almost leaning towards some with a kickout. I also need them to be the full 68" long. I know some companies don't provide that.

Nice buy on the locked front end! Sounds like we're going to see some big updates in the near future w/the 35's going on too.

It was either a locker w/ gears or a rear bumper with swing out. Figured I could use the regear more than anything and it would be stupid to order a front diff without a locker in it
Big updates are coming...Yea, I really haven't. Most of the club has been pretty inactive so they don't go as much as they use to and most my immediate friends mud more than rock crawl. I'll be going with a couple club guys here and there more often. We have a club event in April. Everything should be broke in by then, and I should have 35's by then as well. Looking forward to seeing how it's gonna ride. Not looking forward to the estimated $5/gallon gas this summer, though. Makes me want to throw up :barf:

Guy in brown brought me a package today Got off work a little early and decided to go ahead and do the internal wiring as well as test it. Everything works great. Can't wait to get this baby mounted and working with a front locker. ECGS needs to hurry.

Got a call from ECGS today saying my diff should be here this week, FINALLY! Hope to get it and the compressor installed before or by this weekend.
My bushings from Wheelers for the steering rack and front sway bar should be coming in soon as well.
Man, I got a lot to do lol.
Oh, I also got a hell of a deal on a AnzoUSA 10" LED light bar so I snagged it

Man what a pita swapping a front diff is. The rear was so much easier. The hardest part was getting the diff out. All in all everything went well and no busted knuckles which was a plus lol
Then it was on to installing the compressor. With absolutely no place to put it, I decided next to th battery was the only solution. So I bought a metal plate to go from under the battery and extend out in the open area. Put an L bracket to extend the support, painted and bolted it all down. Works very well. Glad to be have this project done. Next will be 4.88s for the rear.

Yea man, I believe I did it before I created the build thread. I swapped in an elocked rear axle from a '97, hub to hub. Then retrofitted the wiring. Everything works great on it. I just have to regear it now to match the front.

your gonna love it:guitar3::guitar3: I agree that swapping the front Diff was a PITA. I wondered if I was ever going to get the back mount reattached when I did mine last week. Congrats.

lol, the worse part was actually lifting it up to get the bolt that's attached to a bracket on the diff out of the cross member. Then the pinion flange kept hitting the bell housing. I finally just took the pinion flange off, and it slid right out. I was so sore the next day, it's quite the task.
