rear 4.88s went in tonight.. not a big jump from the 4.30s but definitely pulls the 35's better. Looking forward to seeing how they feel on the interstate and hills after I break them in a little more.
So now that my 4wd is fully operational I'm looking forward to getting some wheeling time this weekend at the park. Got a good sized group of people going and will be camping all weekend. Stay tuned for some pics.
oh, and I have a full set of front and rear oem 4.30s If anyone is interested. PM me.

Been a slow couple weeks, I been wanting to get some more stuff done to the rig but bills are kicking in for the end of the month so ya know how that goes. Also just moved to a new house so that's consuming a lot of time.
Did manage to go wheeling with my club a couple weekends ago. Trying to get a feel for the 35s, new 4.88s and the front ARB. Works amazing and can't believe how much easier stuff is being dual locked. Did manage to literally explode a cv axle though

Did finally get my rear diff breather extended today while changing out the diff fluid. Have had the parts, just needed a good afternoon to do it all. Mark it off the list... What's next? Maybe put in the TRD tranny cooler I've had for over a year lol.
Almost forgot.. Hit 160k Time for some maintenance!!

My JVC deck has been slowly getting worse and worse. Volume button was starting to quit working and the aux output was going bad. I bought it for less than $100 nearly 5 years ago, I say it did its job. So, my buddy was selling his Kenwood KDC X794 he had for less than a year. I snagged it for dirt cheap. So far I love it. It's 100x better than the JVC I had lol.

So I've been contemplating buying a GoPro HD 2 for quite some time now but just don't want to dish out that kind of money. I recently spent a christmas gift card for best buy (I don't shop there much lol) on a LifeProof case for my iPhone 4s. Not too long after, I realized they also make an adapter clip compatible for all the GoPro mounts. LifeProof Adapter Clip
I've searched and found multiple videos of people using this vs the expensive GoPro but none any of vehicles offroad. There are some of vehicles going at high speeds as well as motorcycles/bikes and the quality starts crapping out, which worries me bc of the bumpy terrain I'll be using it for.
So, has anybody used this setup? I don't want to dish out $50 more bucks for the adapter and a GoPro suction mount if the video is not going to be that great.
By the way, I love this LifeProof case. It is amazing.

I have the GoPro Hero 2 and love it! I really don't think your going to get the video quality your looking for; the GoPro is 1080HD and has amazing video quality, even under the worst conditions. It's designed for being outside the vehicle, it's waterproof, it's shock proof, and if it gets hit by a tree branch or falls off the truck you'll be fine (worst case, replace the case and it should be good). I've seen horrific videos of them getting beat up and you really can't kill them unless your trying.
I would not feel comfortable having my iPhone in the same conditions as my GoPro, even on a nice day. Water, dust, vibration = Bad! I would just save up for the GoPro, and bring a friend along to video until you get the funds. After all, it is just a toy!

I agree with you, but I just don't want to dish out the money on it right now. This LifeProof case is pretty amazing. I took it swimming and did some video recordings and it worked great. It's suppose to be ALL WEATHER proof. I can't say I'll like the video as much as the GoPro Hero 2 puts out, but for now I can live with my phone's videos. It's a bit cheaper too, bought the LifeProof case attachment for GoPro accessories and the suction cup mount for under $50. I'll post a video when I get it all in and we'll see how well it works! Thanks for the input bud. I will eventually get one of those badass things.
Deposit is down on B.A.M.F. sliders... gonna be a while before I see them though. Plan on starting the F150 tank swap soon.

Saweet!!! Welcome to the BAMF slider club. Not much of a club since I'm the only one right now, but that will change soon enough. Did you go with the kick outs? You definitely didn't make the wrong choice.

I noticed there's a couple others in the list with 3rd gens. Yes, I got the kickouts. It's the only way to go! The only thing that sucks is I have to wait over 2 months for them! Excited though. Hell, I'll probably forget about them by the time they're done.

id hold off on the go pro hero 2 for now. I hear an upgraded version is coming out soon with lcd screen. Currently it is offered as a set (lcd add on) at REI for a good deal.
I use my go pro hero 2 for everything. It is a great investment. Just got back from cancun and used it ziplinning and canonyeering.
Ive used it w/4runner, my mountain bikes, snowboarding.
There are a number of improvements I wish it had, but the main one is the LCD screen in the back to see where youre shooting.

A couple club buddies and I took our trucks to go ride at the offroad park.. I finally got to try out my iphone mount and it worked out great. I still have to edit and upload the videos so they will be up a little later. Here are the pics, and the carnage 
Going up a loose rock ridge.. ended up busting out my passenger cv and sliding into a tree after trying to back out. Glad it wasn't any worse. Damage is minimal, couple small dents and some scuffs.
