Ouch! I didn't know that beadlocks were so expensive...
As an alternative, have you seen/heard about air lock internal beadlocks? I read about them in Peterson's 4Wheel & Off-Road and they seem pretty cool. They let you turn your current wheels into beadlocks for 1/3 of the cost and you don't have to replace your wheels/tires. I did some calling around on the beadlocks. The company who is fulfilling the order for those wheels on Amazon is a place site called discountjeepparts.com. I called them hoping that these wheels were an in stock product. Unfortunately they are a product that comes from the manufacture after an order is placed. Why unfortunately? Well, Raceline does not make the Renegade beadlocks anymore. Nor do they make a 17x9 anymore. I tried calling Raceline but they seem to be busy so I'll call back later. I want to get a list of all beadlock wheels they sale available for my bolt pattern.
I've seen the air lock internal beadlocks before. I just think they'd be better suited for a trail only rig. You'd probably have a hard time getting the tire to balance correctly for the road.

A ton of comp buggies run them and the price is on par if not less than others on the market.

Bad thing about the Monsters is you can't get them in the 17x8.5 anymore so your looking at getting the 17x9.5 and while its doable it's pretty wide for a tire that really only measures 12" wide but that's just my opinion.

I have the same ones, but in 16". I agree on them resembling F-5's. Mine aren't so pretty after this weekend though.

This is motivation for ARKRWLR to get the wheels. They are sweet and will look even better with some beadlocks.

Sorry to thread jack OP. But SCRunner, did you take the center caps off? The craigslist ad has a bigger center cap, and yours looks like they don't have them.
ARKRWLR - If you fall through on this purchase, let me know. I'm quite interested in these wheels.

I can't tell you how many times I've thought about sending off my lx450 wheels to get beadlocked by omf. It's ends up being around the same price of a new set of racelines. Plus, I think I'd be the first to beadlock a set of lx450 wheels lol. I really want to see a set of scs stealth 6's beadlocked.

I never used the center caps as I got chrome ones from the PO. The stock center caps are really big and look out of place on the black wheels. I prefer the no cap look now. Let me know if you're interested in those. I'm not super close, but someone might be and can pick them up for you. They are 17x9 and 5 bs so spacers are needed to run them.
Just do it. Your LX's would look so sweet beadlocked and it would be unique. Plus I sometimes miss my LX's. I've been drooling over the stealth 6's for a while, but 17's and brand new wheels weren't in the plans. I wish Jerry had beadlocked his 6's.
Thanks, I was watching the video my friend made and saw exactly when I did that. I slipped off a rock and my tires were still spinning pretty fast. Luckily I'm not a big cosmetics person and I really don't care about the scratches. Time to bust out flat black rattle can.
Any future mods besides wheels? I'm trying to think of something you don't have now.

I already talked to the guy with OMF a while back. They said it's easily doable. I think he said around $25 or $250 a wheel for the conventional beadlock with standard equipment and nothing fancy like rock domes and shit. Plus shipping to and from. The stealth 6's are some of the sweetest wheels I've seen. I actually posted in that thread on TW about how there's like 30 something pages and not one mention of a beadlock conversion lol.
I'm not too hard up on scratches either, as you can tell. I just don't want anymore dents! They hurt to look at. The wheels, pshh, don't care about the wheels lol.
Good question about what's next. If I don't pull the trigger on beadlocks, I'm going with a TacoBox. I just don't want to have to move the tank or do an f150 tank swap.

There will be drinking involved lol.. Thankfully, I will not be doing this myself. One of my buddies is a complete Toyota mechanical brainiac. He'll be helping along the way.

Got me some new Contura V series switch rockers and a new switch for my led bar. No pics lit up as they're just white since I'm using my current switch bodies. Instead of ordering new ones I'm planning on buying some colored vinyl tint and covering the lights under the rocker. Then presto, instant color! The other plain switch is my amp kill switch and I'm working on OTRATTW to make a custom amp kill rocker for me

No not yet. My friend and I have to arrange a time to do it. Probably some time this month. We both need a full day to dedicate to it and we're working that out.
