I'm going with light racing uca from toytec, they seem like a good deal and Jeff is a really easy guy to talk to.

I think they will be more than rewarding. I like Camburg. Either that or Icon. I like that you can get the FK stainless uniballs for the camburgs; however, I like the uniball adapter setup on the Icons and the fact they make dust caps. Around here it's nothing but dust. Just depends what I can find and afford when the time comes.

I hear ya there. I didn't realize that they made a dust cap for the tube arms now. Is that worth an extra $250 though? you could buy quite a few sets up Stainless Uniballs for that. Personally I have never had an issue with my 06's Camburgs after 4 1/2 years now.

You do not have to go with a uniball setup to get the full travel out of your coilovers.
My LR UCAs do not limit my extended length Icons at all. The huge oversized ball joint had more travel in it than the smaller stock one. Travel would be the same with either choice.

Thanks for correcting me. I hadn't realized that light racing utilized larger ball joints on their arms. I thought they were the stock ones

Yep no problem with light racing for articulation.
As you can see my UCA is pretty much up there ( 1/4 in from fender well). That is with the bumpstop compressed. Light Racing do perfectly fine with my Boss COs. I am getting sxtendeds hopefully soon and I don't see any issue that could arise front them

That's not too bad.. I've contemplated buying the reservoirs for my SAW's. It took me a while to find them but poly performance carries all the replacement parts for these coilovers including the remote res. Good to know I can find all the replacement parts in one spot.

My rear shocks on my 97 are the SwayAways that are listed as extended travel for the 4th gens. They are the exact shocks that are on the rear of my 06. Extended length is I think at 25.5" and compressed at 16-16.5"? They have 9" of travel.
I needed to ream my upper shock mount hole a little bit but they bolted right in after that. Not sure if you have bump stop extensions or not but I think mine are around 2.5" after I added the Daystar progressive bump stops.
Not sure what springs you are running now but you want to check on free length. I'm running the OME 861's and they are still solid even at full droop.
I too have thought about converting over my front SAW's to remotes. Maybe one of these days I will do it but for right now, I have all the shock I need. When I had talking to Aaron at ORW he was able to get me the parts list and pricing on everything. I want to say to convert, you would be looking at around $200-225 for each shock. The rear SwayAways I don't have an option because I don't believe SAW has the top post resi cap. I know when I asked about the 2.5's for the rear, they stated that they didn't make the 2.5 top post cap.

haha, I remember now. I just forgot and was speaking before searching. I have 891 OME's. I need to get longer bumpstops because they pop halfway out the perch all the time.

Drew up some plans for a cooler rack to be built by a buddy of mine. This is one of the options I'm more leaning towards. 1" Square tubing frame with 1" round tubing legs and a 3/16" plate for the base that has 1" dimple dies. 3/16" might be over kill for a not even 50lb cooler at max so I'm debating 1/8". Depends on price difference at this point.
After completion we'll weld up some tie down tabs and a way to mount it on my swing arm where the gas can holder goes.

Might be.. Right now we're in a preliminary design. Probably could take out one leg per side and lower it overall an inch. Outside dimensions are 27" x 20" x 8". Remember usable space is 2" less (1" per side cus of 1" tubing). I built it off the dimensions of a yeti tundra 35 and added a couple inches per side. It's 21" x 16" x 15-1/2" but I wanted the option to use other brand/larger coolers.
I am open to ideas. There's plenty room for modifications.

3/16 is waaaaaaay overkill.
Synergy's baja rack only uses 16g for their base material.

You will be surprised how much adding a few dimples srengthens metal.
Get the thinest 1" tube you can. I can't remember what thickness Witson Metalworks uses on their racks but it would be plenty with the amount of tubing you have planned. If you feel you need a backing plate to weld the upright supports then go for it but I wouldn't run too think on the material.
My basket was a heavy SOB on my pickup. 80lb's or so. Then again it was made to take a hit as it stuck over the end of the tailgate but it was definitely overkill with dimpled 12g plate and 3/4" solid stock rolled around the top. It carrier my two coolers and two military storage bins.
Here is a couple pictures when it got finished up. Everything fit perfect without a 1/4" to spare.
