You might be able to get away with a 1/4" wheel spacer if you go with the 199mm calipers but with the 231mm you need bigger. So I just went ahead and ordered 1.25" spacers. They do stick out past but not by much.

Yeah I might try to get some 1" spacers to keep them under the flares and tighter to the body when that time comes. Thanks and the 4runner is looking awesome with the new wheels and stance.

Yea, 1" or 1.25" keeps it pretty close. Anymore and it would stick out just enough to throw debris against the side of the truck. I think 35s are gonna give me a challenge.

SCRunner: As per the Tundra brakes (199mm) and LC wheels. I have a 1/4" spacer and they clear the 199's just fine. The 231's will not clear though... FYI

My battery took its last breath today, unexpectedly. Figured I'd do it right the first time and bought a DieHard Platinum (P-5, Group 35). I've been hearing more bad than good with the Optima batteries within the last year so didn't want to risk it. These seem plenty beefy though! Probably add a Blue Sea blade fuse block soon for my extras (and future extras).

I love those subs. They've lasted YEARS. 9 Years to be exact. I will be sad the day they go. The amp is also a rockford fosgate, punch series 900w mono. It's as old as the subs are. Original box and everything!

I've been trying to play catch up to your truck.

I keep having to dig into my front arb and regear savings for unexpected items and such. This battery put me back a good chunk but at least I know I have something that can handle all the auxiliary stuff. When my taxes get here I should be getting close to pull the trigger on an assembled front with 4.88's and arb.

You've done a great job so far with your build! And I like that you're one of the few guys on here that really uses their stuff on the trails! It's just too bad we live like 2000 miles away, it would be cool to go wheelin!

I haven't actually wheeled in a while. I've been way to busy with work and stuff to enjoy even a day at the ORV Park. There are little things here and there that I want to get fixed and changed before I hit the trails hardcore again. I'm thinking of ditching the custom "experiment" sliders and getting some new ones. They were built too long and hit when tucked with 285s. They'll definitely hit with 315s. I need to also fix my front skid (some how). Skid-row sucks. I don't recommend their skid for our trucks.

So anyways, like I said above I just bought an ARB CKMA12 High output air compressor and an ARB compressor hose kit from a guy on YT for $200 shipped. That should push the new front 7.5 3rd I just ordered from ECGS with 4.88 gears and ARB locker pretty well Looks like they have been busy though, as they are out of front 3rds and ARB RD90s. Guess I gotta play the waiting game, *sigh*

Will be hooking up the rear with some 4.88s as well then find some 35s to slap on. Eventually get me some limit traps for the front and extended bump stops for the rear to keep from tearing up too much.

Still wanting a rear bumper w/ swing out. I don't like not having a spare tire on board. They just cost too freakin much. Maybe I should start a donation program haha

Any chance you can get a picture of how far your tires stick out past your flares? I'm trying to decide if I want to go with a 1" spacer or go custom and get a .5-.75" one. Your 4runner is going to look sick with the 35's.

Nice job on the steering wheel also, my friend keeps telling me to do it but prob wont til the steering wheel starts to look faded or texture starts to come off.

Haha good! Chase said this month alone they've assembled 12 front diffs and most of them with ARBs. So he's expected some cores back really soon.

Thanks man! The steering wheel was pretty easy. Didn't take that long at all. I really like it because it's multifunctional. Very durable, adds extra grip, and won't tear up like the crappy wraps from auto stores.
