Okay guys maybe I really suck at searching. I tried finding an install thread for it. I got mine in the mail today! I will be installing it tomorrow and after looking through the instructions i have a question.

8b on vehicles equipped with the crank case resonator chamber using a 1-3/8 hole saw, drill out the 5/8 vent port as shown

Now does anyone who's installed one on a 1999 SR5 4runner know if I'll need to do this? I would like to get a hole saw before I tear my intake out lol.

did u just buy the filter or the filter and intake tube. as a kit?

oh i see what your asking.

i think California models might have that part your talking about.

on the intake tube there is a 5/8 in nipple that a vent hose slides on. with vehicles with the crank case tube thingy they want you to drill out that 5/8 hole to 1 3/8 so u can reattach the crank case resonator.

im sure you dont have one.

Oh i didn't think of cali models! See thats why I ask lol

Yeah that must be a cali thing because I did not have to drill anything. Intake is great!
