Yeah, I think we will be in the clear for Saturday, thankfully!!!

I was able to find a friend with a handheld cb so I'll have that with me.

I'm going to pick up a Cobra 19 and wire it up Friday morning, so I can stay in the loop! I highly suggest it for anyone else that doesn't have one, you can buy everything you need for around $50-$60. Cheap and basic, but should work well for close range vehicle to vehicle communications.

It's the best bang for the buck mod you can make, IMO. Especially if you plan on doing trail runs.

Agreed. I bought a handheld HAM radio not long ago and have been playing with it, just haven't picked up a CB yet, which I will this week!

Crazy busy week at work, so I will attempt to play catch up. I should be able to make it down there by four or five. I think I'm just going to sleep in my truck too. Too much effort to break out the tent, etc for a quick night of camping. I've got a couple of walkies that I'll bring but I'll throw on the CB antenna too. I am pumped to do this trail and meet everyone! Also, can I get that .gpx file? I'll shoot a PM with my email.

I don't think we will have time to venture off of the main trail any, but in the case that we do have extra time, we definitely shouldn't be venturing off of the main trail... Everything on both sides of the trail is private land, and a lot of it is leased by private hunting clubs and they aren't happy when they find offroaders off of the main trail...
