On another note, I picked up a Midland Handheld CB Radio at Flying J Truck Stop today for $49.99! I don't expect it to be a great piece of machinery, but should work well for talking amongst our convoy!

Yeah, but why have a lifted 4x4 if you're not going to use it?

Any weather updates? Weather channel has a article claiming this weekend will be some huge tornado outbreak Those guys are such drama queens I don't know if I should believe them or not.

Looks like still just a 20% chance of showers on Saturday from KOTV, which I trust more than anyone else because they KNOW how Oklahoma behaves better than anyone else... Sunday looks ugly though....

Ok. I'm with you. I trust channel 6/9 the most. So, is Sunday's weather early or late? We might want to consider that if progress is slow on the trail. Let's all keep an eye on the news if things look real bad in the forecast, we could cancel and maybe meet up and do Gruber instead. But, I REALLY hope it doesn't come to that.

I'm not sure on that, but regardless (for me), Tiffany and I will be heading home Saturday night no matter what because we've got to get home and get the babies picked up from my mom. I really think if we get started at 8am promptly then we should have no problems reaching 3 sticks by 8pm or sooner.

My buddy and his jk are potentially backing out because he doesn't want to be caught in any storms when we head back home to Okc. I am still coming and I'll bail out at the Indian Highway if needed pending the weather. Who knows at this point what the weather will do.

Exactly my thoughts. Once we reach the Indian Highway we can decide if we want to continue on or not, depending on time and the weather. Don't let your buddy back out! There needs to be a Heeper, I mean Jeeper, for all of us Toyota guys to beat up on! hahahaha!
