That's me! The letters are from BAMF if you're looking for the letters like mine. I love mine, but you would need a sturdier mesh behind them to get them to hold and stay well I would think.

We got 11" in the mountains over the past few days! I'm really looking forward to spending A LOT of time playing in the snow this year! I really need a supercharger though. UGH!!! The struggle is real.
Back when I was in high school. Whenever it would snow I would always skip school and go drive in the snow.
Snow pictures make me jealous. I love driving in the snow. Unfortunately it's mid November here and we are still up near the 80* mark in the afternoons...
Your rig is SICK Unner! Love the letters. I think I might go that way down the road. My first priority is supercharging mine and some winter protection.
Your Supra is incredibly clean. I haven't seen a MKIII that clean. My buddy has a 1J swapped Supra for sale now if you know anyone looking.

Been traveling for holiday over the past 6 weeks. Really looking forward to digging back into the 4runner!
I have been collecting parts for the next round of upgrades. I picked up a supercharger that showed up the day I left. Thanks to A.Wilson for the lead! I ended up getting the supercharger, supra injectors, throttle body spacer, URD fuel and ignition controllers as well as a dynamic tensioner. I am just waiting to buy an AEM unit and gauges before installing. I
I will be replacing the Radiator, thermostat, valve cover gaskets, timing belt, water pump, transmission cooler and upgrading my charging/battery system at the same time. I would also really like to have a straight through exhaust system built.
I took the car to a local shop to get some baseline dyno numbers to get a good before and after.
I've been trolling around the site a bit this week. Definitely some good shit going on!

how did you get some dyno time? damn dude! i need to do some work on mine. it would be nice to just drive over to bosie to wrench and tune with you.

Gary, I highly recommend not running those supra injectors unless you use the AEM stuff to tune it. I had NOTHING but problems running the supra injectors and trying to tune the 6 of them with the URD stuff. It ran well about 90% of the time, but after climbing long grades with any amount of boost it would fall on it's face at the summit, and actually died a few times. This was with a dyno tune at WOT, and HOURS or street tuning.

I am planning on getting the AEM for tuning duties and I really want to get some injectors other than the Supra injectors. I have a good friend that actually works at Injector Dynamics so I may pick his brain and see what they may offer for the 5VZ.

Nah... I tore the interior apart to install a back up camera. I was less than impressed with how the camera worked, so the interior is still torn apart, and the 4Runner hasn't moved since haha...
I am curious to see how you do on the dyno at your elevation. I need to pull up some of my old pulls to remind myself how I did. I think it was ~250hp to the wheels, and nearly 300lb/ft of tq.

Yeah man, dyno time is not cheap, especially if tuning! I think I paid nearly $400 when it was all said and done.
Find a local shop that offers dyno tuning and ask them if there are any upcoming meet days with a discounted rate. Sometimes they do that for the tuner crowd/forums. Who knows, maybe they'd just be willing to help out.
