Im from Siloam Springs and have a few buddies who drive runners as well. Here is a picture of my last one that I sold then kicked myself for doing that and had to get another

If you're looking to add more weight up front like bumper, winch, sliders, skids, etc. I recommend going coilovers as you can adjust your height as you add weight to compensate. But if you're looking to keep it cheaper there's a decent amount of spring options and 5100/OME shocks.

Truck looks good though! Just take care of the few maintenance issues mentioned above, and you'll have a blast in Colorado. I recommend getting this book if you're exploring in the San Juans. Lots of good trails.

Check out my Colorado trip report in my build thread if you're interested. A buddy and I drove from Alabama to Colorado last July and spent some time in the San Juans, running as many trails as we could.

Thanks! I ordered that book and the GPS maps a while back to prepare for the trip. I would like to go coilovers but don't know if I can swing it yet.

I will check out the build thread for sure. I've been reading all the trips reports I can find.

Thats awesome, Ive got a couple buddies with Cherokees that I go with. We will have to plan a trip to disney here before long.

Here it is! I mistyped earlier, it was rustoleum bed liner that I used. Came out very good. I think that I will do the rear bumper if I don't end up building a new one.

looks good! the black lower front trim really hides how big it is. nicely done.

Got the lift in. Went with 5100's with OME coils. 2" rear, 2-2.5" front. Also ordered 10mm trim packers for the rear and new OEM lbjs. Went with 265/75/16 Falken wildpeak at3ws. They should be here tomorrow.

I've got a little bit of the front end apart, changed both CV axle seals since the passenger side was leaking pretty good. Hopefully will finish it up tonight after work and get tires mounted later this week.

Thank you to everyone that gave me advise on the lift and tire selection. I really appreciate it.

Almost forgot, I finished up bed lining the rear bumper, spoiler, and roof rack. At some point I am going to build front and rear bumpers but that may be awhile.

The black looks nice. I have the same color scheme, white with the silver cladding parts, but I'm thinking of repainting mine with an oem silver color.

I wanted to do silver as well but once I looked at it closer it was all scratched up. The bed liner covers that stuff pretty well.

The lift is on! Went surprisingly smooth, only took about 3 hours with the help of a friend.

Now it’s time for tires!

Did a rough alignment and put 100 or so miles on it today. It ran and drove great. Might head over to a local off-road park tomorrow to try it out a little more if the weather isn’t bad.
