Kazaa, Limewire or what?

I've always built my own computers also, I use a PC that I built myself along with the Powerbook. I decided to buy a Mac laptop because since I wouldn't be building a PC laptop anyway, I might as well get the best of both worlds. I do realize however they are rather overpriced, but well worth it in my opinion.

hahaha. my coworker is getting one as a cheap hub for a home network. apparently some of the people who work for us in NYC have gotten them which strikes me as odd being we all have G4 + G5 towers here.

I either use bittorrent or Limewire. I used to use Kazaa light but that will really kill your pc. Once you get used to Bittorent it's definately the best to use in my opinion. My fiance love's Limewire because of how easy the interface is.

This is a fun little tool to use that someone created:

Xtragoogle

All it does is add's a script to whatever you've entered in the search bar and direct's you to where (or who) you can download it from (mp3's, mpeg's, etc). Sometimes it's fun to rummage through someone's things if your bored.

As far as the bittorrent client goes, I use ABC (Another Bittorrent Client).

And the site that I usually use is Mininova like Flatspin187 had also mentioned.

There are a ton of different Bittorrent clients out there though, like most everything it's personal preference.

Ive used, kazaa lite, limewire, and WinMX, my favorite was limewire, but downloaded some serious problems with it. I loved how easy it was to use, but ill never use it again. Guess im going to try something else now....
