KDSS making rear end un-even

Hey all, I have a '14 TEP with a dealer installed revtek lift. About a month ago I was walking up to the truck and notice the rear end was uneven, ended up measuring out to be about an inch different between the driver and passenger sides. I thought it was an issue with the lift so I took to the place that installed the lift to have it checked. Turns out the KDSS system is putting too much pressure on one side creating the unevenness, and they tried to recalibrate the system to no avail. They said it was have to be taken to the dealer most likely to look into the problem, but I was wondering if anyone here has experienced this issue or has some advice?

My stock Limited has the same lean, its a 4runner thing. Its worse on a full gas tank.

There are at least 100 threads on this subject. You can search but let me summarize: They might lean, they might not, they might be level a month from now, they might not, it might be a KDSS thing, until it's not, you can fix it with rear spacers, until you can't, you can recalibrate it, until it does not help. Toyota has a 3/4" range that they operate in.

Hahahaha, how exactly did they "recalibrate" the KDSS? It's a sealed system and the dealership has to rent a machine from Toyota to refill it. Sounds like someone is feeding you some serious BS. It's standard 4Runner driver's side lean and nothing to worry about. I'll bet it leans more with a full tank of gas and less with an empty tank.

easy fix. do not bother re calibrating the systems. Most dealers do not know anything about the KDSS. Buy the trim spacers from Toytec OME 2mm spacers 2 of them sTacked up should take care of the lean.

Did you mean two 10mm spacers? 2mm is pretty small - for reference one inch is about 25mm.

My passenger side is lower by about 3/4 inches. I'm just going to eat at Jack in the Box twice every day until the truck is even when I'm in it.

Did you mean two 10mm spacers? 2mm is pretty small - for reference one inch is about 25mm.

each spacer is 10mm with 2 stacked together its a little bit under a inch. You will not notice the lean. trust me it works. Fix it do not leave it like that. Looks bad.

Uh yeah, was just clarifying because your post said 2mm spacers. Haven't bothered with the spacers for 3 years, not going to bother any time soon and I don't even notice it let alone think it looks bad. Nobody will notice the lean on mine because they'll be too busy looking at the pinstriping and trail damage.

Mine does not lean, so whenever I park somewhere I purposely turn the front wheels to make it lean. This way I feel like one of the OCD guys.
