Absolutely. Bumpers add weight that these vehicles were really never intended to handle.

Gotta agree that's why you are going to see more and more aluminum bumpers. Not great for bashing on the rocks but it's the new trend in overland and still a ton better than plastic bumpers.

Thanks for the help and advice, guys! I don't wanna carry on too much more about suspensions and whatnot since I've already kinda hijacked the thread, but I figure the complete OME kit is probably the way to go then, if I end up wanting SW front and rear steel bumpers.
