Best old resale value with high mileage capability, is my main criteria in buying a particular used model or brand.
- 6 months purchased a mint 2008 Toyota RAV4 Limited v6, with 89,000 Km (55,000 miles)
- last month, our son had his heart set on buying an Audi q5 / instead, he purchased a new 2015 Lexus RX350...with Dad's brand persuasion
- this week, I'm buying a one owner/time capsule 2000 4Runner SR5 v6 4x4, with low Kilometers (like 80,xxx original miles)
^^ Over 40 years of driving & buying/selling & finally buying the Toyota brand now...my #1 choice recently.
KBB is my go to vehicle appraisal site, when buying new / gives me a feel for wholesale $ vs. dealer retail.
- and I make my $$ offer, accordingly Kelley Blue Book
