mounting hardware ideas for the shovel mount?
using the two spots shown, with jack compartment on that side i can get a bolt in from the back side where the push pin goes
Also check out quick fist clamps

I think you could still do it but you would need to convert to DRL,I think its just a relay but I'm not sure

Should be pretty similar in the sense of wiring it up, just pick up a DRL flasher relay from either the stealership or find one online. They're anywhere from $25-$40
just got my 09 limited and wanted to make a thread of my mods to come, advice, and help.
so to start this is what i got friday morning

this is my 09 limited 4x4 with leather seats, nav, jbl, double deck cargo, and Xreas. i got it with 45k miles and no scratches.
today was my first full day with the truck so i did a few small things. first was clear plasti dip on rear TOYOTA emblem and 4runner emblem. i did learn not to plasti dip in the wind. i had a lot of over spray.

looking at the first picture reminds me why I hated the so called tinted windows. compare it to the suv next to you and its clear as day.

so in the next few weeks im going to be looking into exhaust shops to turn my exhaust out the side. im one that always rides with the windows down so i would like to be able to roll down the back window. my thought on my exhaust is to have it cut at the exhaust flange for the resonator and run 3" pipe out to the side. do you guys think that 3" is a bad idea or should i stick with 2.5.
i think that going to 3" pipe after the axle will make a small change in exhaust sound and look better. please give opinions

I think 2.5 is the way to go. I need to get my exhause finished up... I suggest a TRD tip cut from the catback. Theyre nice 2.5 in tips and have TRD etched up top on them.
