My key fob stopped working a while back and I instantly replaced the battery thinking that was the problem. That solved nothing, and I eventually broke the fob out of frustration so I bought a couple new ones. I tried to program the new fobs and ran into an issue of my truck not entering the fob programming mode. A user on here told me to disconnect the battery for a while then try again. That worked, got the two fobs programmed just fine.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and both fobs stop working. I try the battery disconnect again and the fobs start magically working again, no programming needed. The problem is now they just stop working every few days and require a battery disconnect to work again. Anyone ever heard of this happening or have a suggestion? Is there a fuse that could be going bad? From what I've read if it was the fuse for key fobs I'd be seeing other features stop working with the truck, but I don't. Any help would be greatly appreciated so I don't have to go to a shop for something that could be an easy fix. Thanks.
