I just bought a 2011 4Runner Limited with 4WD. I'm a surfer, and had a Sequoia before this. That had a regular key I could put into the key pocket of my wetsuit; so I could lock the car and go surfing without hiding a key. I tried pulling the little key out of the new keyless entry remote, putting it on my wetsuit and leaving the remote in the car, but when I walked away, the alarm went off and all the doors unlocked. Anyone know how to override this so I don't have to try and hide the remote?
