More parts ordered

I just rolled over 110k miles on the Green Runner, and still have not had 90k mile maintenance done.

So thanks to the OEM Kit from aircabinman on Ebay I should have that maintenance completed soon!

Toyota Timing Belt Water Pump Kit Genuine Parts 4 Runner Truck 3 4L V6 | eBay

Will also be adding the bottom plates onto the 1st gen roll bar that I purchased from ARKRWLR and getting that installed.

If everything goes according to plans I should have the 4Runner built do my current wishes by the end of the summer! :lookout:

Planning on scheduling the replacement of the timing belt, water pump, and ect for next Friday. Then I will calling to pay a little bit more on the Shockworks bumper.
duckhunter71 and my wife and I are planning on making a trip out to Southern Colorado this next Spring of Fall, so the plans for the trip include a fridge, RTT, along with the suspension goodies I am planning on getting soon from TOYTEC.

Soon I will have a large stack of parts! :jump:

Hepar Thanks for the kind comments. I have actually drooled a little over you rig since I got my 4Runner back in 2011.

Nice.. I wasn't sure if you and a friend were attempting it. I need to get all the stuff for my truck to do it. Myself and a buddy of mine are going to give it a go!

You are braver than me! I just couldn't live with the fact that if I was one tooth off i would have to take it all back apart and try again.

small update

First off Happy Memorial Day! Big thanks to our Veterans on T4R!

So the new timing belt has been installed and and runs like a champ! Plus they guy only charged $330 for labor! The shop was a little out of the way but worth the effort.

Hopefully I will be able to order my suspension in the next month or so and get that installed. After that will be sliders.

Although not 4Runner related I just got back from getting a new canoe! I think it looks right at home on top of the 4Runner :becky:

UPDATE:

So lots of things coming to the Green Runner build!!!

1. Shockworks bumper comes in this month.
2.Toytec Ultimate lift is in the mail.
3. Purchased Whitson Metalworks crossbars from another forum member.

So in a few weeks I will be super busy!

The old 4Runner that I had for a bit had the 5-Star rims that I wanted since I got the Green 4Runner. So naturally I stole them off of it before it sold and let the new owners have the Split 3 spoke rims.

There was a slight problem though. Since the other 4Runner had been a Norther vehicle the clear coat on the 5-stars was shot! Today i started correcting this issue. :biggrin2: You can see the corrosion on the outside of the rim near the tire.

Luckily I found out that llennium has a good friend with a media blaster! Unfortunately I ran out of time today and was only able to finish one rim.
Started tonight with self etching primer on both the rim and hub cap. Currently the 4Runner is on a jack stand crippled in the drive way for the weekend. I will post some pictures of the rim painting process later this weekend or Monday.

New parts!!!

Yesterday and today were really good days for the 4Runner! Thanks to shiftmx for the new Whitson Metalworks crossbars and his prompt delivery those have been installed.

I am really happy with the way they turned out.

Also thanks to ToyTec Lifts I will be installing my new lift this weekend! :biggrin2:
