Since you had to cut the plug end off the block heater for the Mack Truck waterproof mount, couldn't you splice in a oil pan heater too, and have only one plug?

Yes you could but I'm not sure about the amperage draw on the supply circuit. I'm not an electrician but think you should still be OK. You can always reverse the mod.
