Knock Sensor Issues?

I recently replaced my knock sensor under the manifold during an engine rebuild on a 3vze and after replacement of the sensor, im still getting the knock sensor code from the diagnostics and the CEL wont extinguish. Also replaced the knock sensor wiring to eliminate that possibility. I seriously cant get the code to clear or the light to turn off. Any thoughts?

Well, I hate to say it but you need to ohm or do a voltage test with a headlight on that circuit. You have no choice. You need to verify whether or not you have a wire issue between the ecm and the sensor, or if you have a bad ecm or a bad knock sensor.
