Knock sensor problems

I have a 2002 4 runner that keeps giving a knock sensor code. I replaced the knock sensor, wiring harness and tested the wiring back to the ecu. It's supercharged with meth injection and I run premium gas. It ran fine until recently. Compression on all cylinders is fairly even. I reset the codes and it runs fine for a little then throws the code under a light load within a minute or two. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yes I know they are. But in my experience with boost, meth injection, e85 tuning cars you always go oem knock sensor. You may have better luck with used oem. What causes that code to go. Failed sensor or excessive knock?

It starts knocking right at 1psi of boost then it throws the code. I don't know why its knocking it never has before. I am starting to think it is engine damage. Maybe blown rings or melted piston? But compression test seemed ok. The air fuel ratio is the same as its always been.

That low of boost with meth should not knock. Do a leak down test to see if any of the valves are bad.
