Got an 88 4runner with 200k 22re
Oil change about 5 months ago
Started hearing this knocking like a mild jack hammer seems to come from front.
Only noticing it in 3rd 4th and 5th gear and when giving er gas.
Yesterday checked the oil and she was pretty low so topped er up and this morning.. just realized I forgot to put cap back on since was beginning to over heat.. filled back and still knocking.
Hope this isnt anything too serious! Thanks in advance for the help
