ko2 265/75/16 installed

Fluid film will dry and won't look wet like it does when first applied. The stuff has a high wax content and sticks very well. I've been using it for years and highly recommend the stuff. I'm moving to Maine and my new mini van is getting a good application, so is the 3rd gen I'm picking up in Chicago next week. When I put the plates on the van I soaked the plate hardware for 30 minutes in fluid film, I'll never have to worry about getting the plate screws out.

That's exactly what I think too. I'm in the same situation as you as well. My new tires only come in a blackwall so I guess I'm just gonna have to get used to it...

Here's my old Pirelli Scorpion AT's from 2006 - 275/70R16. The best tires I ever owned. They redesigned them and the new Scorpions suck, I would have bought them again. Edit: They look so small after switching to a 17" wheel.

Yeah, I know they'll look good still. White letters would just be icing on the cake. These are the tires that will be making their way onto my 4Runner this weekend. With the new trail edition wheels though, not these jeep wheels.

These are the Hankooks MT's 285/70R17... Hopefully I can finish my lift tonight or tomorrow so I can get these on. I want to drive my truck to a wedding on Sunday. :drummer:

Yup, I sure am haha. I'm picking up my wheels tomorrow and getting them mounted on those tires tomorrow evening. I hope to have the wheels on Saturday as well. I'm hoping there's no major rubbing issues. We're gonna look so good rolling on our trail wheels with mud tires!

Please go easy on me here. I have read the 75's rub and others say no way they don't rub. Looking at getting the KO 2's on my 2001 with no running boards. Will this work? No lift. BTW, The KO 2's are not made in the 265/70/16...

Add: I'm think I'll just go with The Rugged Terrain. I'm ditching the grapplers because they lasted 26K. I liked them but 26K? I'll need a tread warranty from this point going forward. The Gen 2 Grapplers have a 50K tread warranty, just my luck.

Add: I'm think I'll just go with The Rugged Terrain. I'm ditching the grapplers because they lasted 26K. I liked them but 26K? I'll need a tread warranty from this point going forward. The Gen 2 Grapplers have a 50K tread warranty, just my luck.

You will need to pound the pinch weld over flat, and possibly trim some of the front bumper. I have an 01 and had to do the same, although mine are 285/75/16 with a 3" lift, you putting those on with no lift is probably the same thing (just pinch weld and minor trim).

as far as I know my truck has not been lifted. I run 265/75/16 all terrain and I don't have any rubbing etc
but then I don't go out and play as hard as many of you do, just pretty tame forest service roads
so playing hard is maybe where the rubbing happens

So I recently put the 265/75/16 BFG KO2s on my stock 2002 with no lift and no rubbing at all. I have been over some steep traditions at full turn and so far, nothing. If I do anything at all, I might just refresh my suspension with 99 tall springs for a slight lift. But nothing else is needed at this moment.

I took my truck last weekend for some serious off road. I only had a minor rubbing in the rear-driver side with the bolts that hold the mud flap (my bumper was hit in that corner too). I also have fresh springs, that might help. In conclusion I would say no rubbing on ko2 265/75/16
