Those are the first pictures I've ever seen of somebody tearing into a front diff, and I've surfed the entire internet... twice. Thanks for the pictures, they provided an interesting glimpse into the mysterious "clamshell".

I think you need to get an Aussie and do one of your famous write-ups on the install! A BFAD guide to the Aussie would have made this process a lot easier on me lol.

They're not too expensive, you might as well get one!

Sage has been better. She just had cataract surgery actually, so she's in a stupid cone for awhile and we have to put eye drops in 8 times a day, which she fights enthusiastically. Besides that, she's doing ok.

I have to agree, Hammer Down is in my future... just not in the dark on a Sunday when I have to be back at work Monday morning haha. We'll have to plan another trip soon, though.

Well... about that. I technically have not made it up the water tower line yet, and that lady bug looking FJ did :redface:

In my defense, I'm having to deal with an under-geared manual, and I haven't tried to stack rocks to make it easier for me haha.

Got a set of quick disconnects for my front sway bar from [MENTION=98153]MStudt[/MENTION] :



While it was fun having no sway bars for a while, I am so relieved to not have to deal with the body roll anymore. Now I no longer have to dread driving on a windy back road :thumb3:

Next up is all pretty boring, maintenance stuff for the most part.

I need to do:

Front LCA bushings
Rear UCA and LCA (already have a new one of each that I've been carrying as spares, just need to buy the other one)
Panhard bar bushings
Steering rack bushings
Outer tie rods
Coolant flush
Drain and fill front diff pretty soon (coming up on 600 miles since the Aussie install)
Figure out why my ebay light bar is no longer working

:yawn: I'm bored just from typing out that list, but it needs to be done.

You and Connor need to get that hooting owl in the videos under control.
