I have a Westscott ladder on my T4R, and am thinking about a jerry can mount for it.
I envision a plate attached to the side of the ladder with an arm on a hinge. On the other side of the ladder would be another plate with a latch.
The jerry can would be across the width of the ladder. If you needed to use the ladder, you’d open the latch and swing the can out of the way.
I have upgraded struts on my rear hatch, so the weight shouldn’t be an issue.
Thoughts? Nobody makes this, as far as I can see.
