Land Rover Off Road Remote Control

What do you guys thinks about this? I think this would make off-roading way to boring. Being able to control your car from the outside would take a lot of the driver finesse out of it.

That looks like no fun at all the whole point of a vehicle is to drive it and now car companies are removing it as an option. The whole reason I have any of my vehicles is because they are all unique in the way they drive and handle and perform. I probably won't buy a new vehicle unless I have to because they have ridiculous options that make driving less fun. I mean who really needs parking assist unless you are absolutely lazy it isn't that hard. Or my new favorite is having wifi in your vehicle(thanks Chevy) because kids have such sort attention spans that they need an iPad in their face at all times. When I was a kid my dad told me to look out the window and count trees and eventually I would fall asleep and it worked every time. Car companies suck now rant over now back to work

That is kind of my thought on it as well. Takes the driver out of off-roading, and takes the fun out of it. Plus it is also another thing to break on the vehicle and cost money to replace and fix.

I can see where it'd be handy to be able to spot for yourself if you're out in the boonies alone, I've been in spots where that might have saved me a lot of hassle. But a car that can be hacked into and driven by a smartphone sounds like a horrible idea.
