landcruiser coil Qustion for 3rd gen runner.

If the front coil fit the rear on a runner, can the rear coil from the cruiser be useful for the runner. I ask cause I saw both pairs for 150$. It states to give 2" lift.
I have bilstein w/ performance product 1" coils on four corners.
I want to throw some 255/85/16 on some eagles I picked up.

the front coils off of an fzj80 land cruiser will lift the back of a 3rd gen (96-02) 4runner anywhere from 2.5-5"(depending on the coils paint code).

the rear coils off of an fzj80 land cruiser will lift the back of a 2nd gen (89-95) 4runner anywhere from 2.5-4" (depending on the coils paint code).

I bet that they are supposed to give 2 inches of lift for the 80. that is like 5-6inches of lift on our runners. Also would be a very stiff ride.

depending on what paint code they are and how badly they have been uses/abused they will sag some, i say 2.5 to be conservative, some say the 9.25 wraps will give you 6" but i have a hard time seeing that, i can see 5" but i have yet to see anyone with the 9.25s get 6" even when empty.

i guess maybe you could get 6" if you count the sag of the "your" old springs and the height that "your" runner sat at whyle dragging a*s ...
