Hey all! I'm new to the forum and am looking to buy a 3rd gen T4R in the next 2-3 months. No plans on lifting it but I do want to change the wheels and tires to something bigger. So my question is what's the biggest tires that I can slap on there? And if anyone has gone bigger tires without lifting, some pics would be appreciated. Thanks!

32's are the biggest you can go with a stock suspension, in most cases. you can cut and hammer to make 33's fit but 32's or 265/75/16 is gonna be the best bet for what you want probably.

285 70 17, its been done and wheeled and daily driven, it works just fine with an sr5.

285 75 16s should work as well, i think a few others have done this after me and got a way with it
-note you will probably have to hammer over the pinch-welds in the fender/firewall to keep from cutting up your tires

I had a look at your build...so no rubbing at all? I take it though, there's not much articulating room?

I did have some minor rubbing, but it was only at full lock and full stuff... And the only time you are going to experience those situations, is at very low speeds so its really not going to matter anyways. It never did any damage to the truck or the tires. I'd say for daily driving you'd never notice it unless you like to curb hop at speed as a driving technique... I ran this way for the better part of 2years before I lifted. I also wheeled my runner more often back then -i just had more free time on my hands back then...
