Last couple questions before ordering lift.

I'll be ordering my lift in the next few days and have a couple questions.
After doing allot of reading, pricing different lifts together I have decided to go with the ToyTec Coilovers for the front and superflex coils with extended 5100s for the back.

This will mostly be a DD with moderate camping/hunting trips (mostly FSR) but occasionally I will take it for extreme offroad/crawling trips. (when I say extreme I mean pushing the rig to the max with out being an idiot, I do not "bag" on my truck)

1) Extended bump stops - From what I understand these are only used to prevent the wheel from rubbing in the wheel well at full stuff. If I decide to go with only 32s and there is little to no rubbing these will not be required?

2) Limiting straps front - Used to prevent extreme CV angles at full drop. If i'm only running 2.5-3 lift in the front with almost factory weight (not as much preload on the coil) I should be fine with out these? (keeping sway bar)

Limiting straps back - Ummm, used to prevent the coil from falling out and from all the weight/load to hang off of the shock?

3) Sway bars - I will be keeping my sway bars for now, probably get quick disconnects in the future. For now whats better, extended linkages or drop down brackets and how crucial are these?

Thanks guys.

1. Bump stops will also stop the shock from overcompressing and blowing out which happens with longer coils so I would still get them if you are going to be fully flexing her out.

2. Since your going with the coil overs you should be good without the front straps. You get excessive angles more when you are adding topout spacers, but they can be added for piece of mind.

3. If you run the bump stops and those shocks with springs they shouldnt fall out in the back, if you want you can wire the in on the top and bottom just in case but should be fine there with superflex coils.

4. Front sway bar really limits flex, you can just unhook one side and that will open up the flex, get a disco up front. The rear I would get lift brackets for the sway bar, it helps a lot on the road and I get full flex with my 7 wraps and still connected.

1) Make sure the up travel stops on the bump stop not the shock,
Over compression is very bad! Got it.

2) For piece of mind... I know that with IFS there is always chance for braking CVs, I should be ok for a while (till my wallet refills) Just to be sure I will check how bad then angels get.

3) ToyTec site says nothing about straps and they would have tested the setup before selling it so I'm pretty sure the coil shouldn't fall out, but how bad is hanging every thing off the shock? (I would love to get them, again for piece of mind but after this my wallet will be in the -$ range)

4) I will work on getting a disconnect for the front, one side ok or is it needed on both. Will there be any significant change in on road performance with out drop brackets or will it be fine? Also with it connected would the limiting flex help with extreme CV angels at full drop?
I will buy or make lift brackets for the back. Should they be as tall as my lift? (edit just read that the front should be 1/2 of lift so I'm guessing same for back)

Thank you very much JayRolla

I wouldn't worry too much about limit straps or bump stops. I've ran the toytec kit on both my 4runners without doing any sort of bump stop modification or limit strap and haven't had any issues. If you were going to be beating your truck up driving really fast offroad it might be a good idea. But from what you posted I wouldn't worry about it. Besides after you wheel it for a while you can decide for yourself if you need them or not. And with that setup your rear coils won't fall out.
