Last Day of Goodyear Sale

So today I was passing the local Goodyear tire shop where I saw a sign that said "Tire Sale". Might as well pop in and a good thing I did. Wasn't planning on buying tires but I walked out with a set of Goodyear Duratracs 285/70/17 for just over $800! Check it out if while there's still time!

This will be my second set. I think my current ones will last through the summer but at that price I couldn't resist. I only bought the tires and opted out of the mount and alignment as I won't be needing it anytime soon, plus I have someone else who does some of my work for me.

What pressure are you running in them? I posted the question on the forum today and have yet to get any responses. When I bought them, the tire shop aired them up to 45 psi, I've since deflated to 35 front, 32 rear.

Wow that's a great price. I tried calling around some of my local Goodyear shops as I'm in need of the 285 duratracs in a month or so but I haven't come anywhere close to just over $800 out the door.

Best quote I've gotten is around $240 a tire AFTER rebate. That's based off the price match they'll do after they include shipping from online stores....

I'm running them at 40-42 psi for daily use. When out wheeling, I've learned 18 psi.

The secret I guess was the sale lol. I still got the $60 rebate on top of that. The only downfall with the rebate is that it doesn't come in the form of a check. It comes on a visa gift card. I would much rather have gotten the cash back.

Touché! Was hoping there was something else to it! Rebates on the gift cards seem to be the new trend and I agree...cash back is waaaayyyy better.

THAT is BS, Ugh. I went today and the guy quoted me 1,056 out the door ofr the sale price. Errrrr.... That was with balancing and Taxes but still. That was for 265x75x16's
