Last Run of the Season

Well, we decided to take the 4Runner out for one last run before winter really sets in. We had a good time, mostly open trail, with some closed in spots, and some water crossings. Unfortunately, I ended up smashing my bumper when crossing the 1st stream on some floating ice..........

around a great run, too bad I smashed my bumper.....:cry2:

Maybe it's time for a plated bumper??? Maybe a just a new stock replacement???

That was what I was thinking!!! Not sure how much an Arb would cost to buy and ship here, was thinking of getting a guy I know, to fab one up for me.....or the 99+ bumper....I don't normally do this kind of offroading....so should be alright with a stocker????

Yeah, I was pretty bummed! As nice as the Addicted Offroad bumper is, I think I prefer a plated bumper, like an ARB or similar. I'm still not sure what I want to do, off-road bumper or 99+ stock bumper?????

The lights actually survived the onslaught! I just removed them to prevent any damage. The trail had 4 water crossings, the 1st one being the second deepest. The water came to just below my front bumper, you can tell by where the ice hit. The deepest crossing, was much deeper, and I have a pic of the Orange Jeep in it, he's running 37's and the tires were completely submerged! There used to be an underwater bridge there, but the ATV'ers have torn it all out, and it's now only accessible by crossing that deep spot.....didn't want to kill by Runner there! Out of the whole gang that was there, only 2 guys tried and made it through, the Jeep, and a guy in a Samurai.....
