Yes, Demello is in Riverside, CA. Just an hour from me. Their front bumper and the rock sliders look good. On his website the first photo of the front bumper shows something delicate looking with tubes and plastic sticking out below the bumper. What is that and why isn't it covered?

Luke is the owner at 4x4 Labs. He is technically in Grass Valley CA which is Just north of Sacramento.

Ya I am excited for Jasons bumper mainly because his shop is literally right down the road from Vegas so I could pick it up and avoid freight costs, although a road trip up to Sacramento and Luke's shop wouldn't be too bad either.

Your correct, when your not the only game in town Supply and demand are crucial all these companies are stepping it up the other good thing we can hope for is a price war haha

damn the CBI looks nice. Anyone know if they will make a slightly modified version for the 14-15 sr5/trail models like they did for the rear bumper? I'm guessing its too early to hear anything about that but any word is better than none :yo:

I asked on FB and they are looking for a 14+ to use. If I was closer I would drop off mine for a few weeks but its a 20 hour drive from here.

Long story short:

Got rear-ended yesterday in San Antonio where I live, around 20 mph in traffic. Enough damage that most of the rear pieces will probably have to be replaced. The other driver ran and I'm pressing charges, yadda yadda.

Anyway, I am going to ask for estimate-only from my insurance company (Geico) and see if I can get an aftermarket bumper instead of having the truck repaired back to factory.

Two questions:

I want a plate bumper with a swingarm. Shrockworks is quoting 6 to 8 weeks with a 10% "rush" fee. I've also considered CBI, but I'm concerned about it clearing a gobi ladder and with the single-supported pin design of the swing arm (it looks weaker than the Shrockworks hinge, but purely based what I know about levers). Any relevant thoughts on alternatives I haven't looked at, or does someone want to tell me that I'm overly concerned about the strength of the CBI?

Secondly, anyone have a good suggestion for a shop to work with? My adjuster is over at Service King for the damage inspection in the morning, but if I am forced into repairing it through a shop, I don't know if that is my first choice. I would MUCH prefer a shop that does offroad work if I have the alternative. :frusty:
