LawnDart's Build Thread

I just bought a 2016 TRD PRO. I've been thinking about upgrades but have been told I should've gotten an SR5 or Trail and moded that instead of starting with a pro. Your build is an inspiration. I am starting with sliders and skids but will eventually get a hidden winch. I love the look of your Nitto 33's. Down the road I may upgrade the suspension to fit them in. Never do what other people tell you to do. Do what you want. Awesome rig.

Not the best of updates, but because he and I went on adventures constantly, today I had to put my best friend down. He loved going on rides in the 4Runner, and I'll miss him terribly.

RIP Mans Best Friend... Sorry about your loss and I know it takes time. I hope you're open to the idea to getting another companion. Man, dog, and 4Runner is a tough combo to beat

Danke. So here it is with the bumper.

And here's the next round for October. This will wrap up the build for the majority of the year. The ARB snorkel is confirmed as not shipping till December, so I'll likely install that after christmas. Fender flares are "soon".

What's left:
-ARB Air Compressor + Wiring
-Rear Rigid D2 Dually Floods in the bumper
-Diff. Breather Mod
-Bigger battery
-Adjust front coilover shocks to compensate for that + re-allignment
-Painting the exhaust black

Is the bumper Flat black or Satin Black?

Man, so terribly sorry for this. I can relate very much, and feel your pain and sorrow. It is truly a remarkable gift to share life with a 4 legged best friend. They are really man's best friend, and inspire love beyond comparison. Again I am sorry for this loss. Hang in there!

Rip

That's tough, man. Sorry- never easy to watch a friend like that go!

We who choose to surround ourselves
with lives even more temporary than our
own, live within a fragile circle;
easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps,
we would still live no other way.
We cherish memory as the only
certain immortality, never fully
understanding the necessary plan.

Sorry for your loss. I just had to put my best friend of 13 years down on New years eve. Still miss him dearly. Hang in there!

Thank you so much. I would have given my 4runner away if it meant bringing him back to 100 percent health.

He made me a better human being. Full stop.
