LC 8 wraps

Anyone have the part # handy for these?

Exactly. If you want to buy new springs you want to get some 7 wraps. 8 wraps that have not sagged will give more lift than say some used 8 wraps. My new 7 wraps gave me almost 4" lift in the rear.

Yeah, I think I want to do 8 wraps though. Or at least an 8 on the DS and a 7.5 on the PS. I'm looking for a little more lift. Still trying to decide on front setup, was first thinking Toytec/Eibach coil setup, but I heard they are out of stock for who knows how long, or OME or Tundra/TRD with a top plate spacer. I think the ride would be really nice with the Tundra/LC rear setup. Thoughts?

What are the colors on those 7 wraps? Used are cheap but I have a good hook up through Toyota so maybe I will go new.

**** and you think I was up in the air yesterday when we talked, i just cant make up my damn mind! Maybe Orange Orange Whites DS and Double Pink Grey White on the PS would make sense. I dont want to have too much rake so I'm a little nervous the Tundra/TRD front setup wont lift me high enough, but maybe with a small top plate spacer...

I think that would be a good setup if you're getting them new. And yeah, you can always throw a spacer in there to even it out a bit more.

I'm worried the LC springs will sag also, but I'm also thinking my girlfriend will ***** a lot with a stiffer OME spring on there! Ahhh decisions. I dont plan on doing an aftermarket rear bumper, but I do often have the rear loaded up with dogs, hunting/fishing/camping gear...but I think ill be alright?

What about the 890's in the rear and match them with the 5100's.

Yeah those would probably make it too big. I'm just over thinking this. I think Tundra/TRD F and LC's in the rear is what I'm going to do.

I agree. The rears are easy enough to swap out, so if for some reason you really don't like them, you can always switch them.

Alright, well I put in my parts request to my buddy at Toyota(and confused the hell out of him) and he's looking into it for me.

LC coils will sag quite a bit under weight. If I have a full load I drop from my almost 4" lift too about 2.8". Just a hair under my front end. I really dont like it but the better ride compared too OME is worth it.

I agree. Do you have any pics of your rig so I can see how she sits?

Me and PNWRunner are both running 9 wraps out back if you wanna come take a look. I ran 890s before I had the LC coils and the LC coils are sooooo much better ride wise. I had the back of my truck full of firewood/camping gear and my roof basket full of camping gear a couple weeks ago and it was still raked about 1/2 an inch so while it the LC coils do sag its not terrible. PNWRunner may still have his 8 wraps I'll ask him for you if you're interested.
