LC coil (FZJ80) question(s) and imput

so i have a couple of sets of these, one is actually from a LX450 and is the 9.25 wrap and the other set is from a 94 80series, and is the 8 wrap. i was gonna use them on my runner along with the toytec heavy up front. not sure which i was gonna use in the rear till i had the front done and could see how both options worked with a constant load. anyhow someone has offered to buy my 8 wraps from me, and give me their 99talls as well, my question is how much should i ask for the 8wraps. no way will i trade strait across. what do you think is a fair price to ask for them, again i am not looking to sell them as i was going to keep them, so its not like i want to just let them go but i do have a fall back plan with the 9.25s but i think thats gonna be a bit too much lift imo tell me what you guys think

I wouldn't think they're worth much more than the talls. How many miles on the 8 wraps? How many miles on the talls?

$60-65 is the typical price I see for the LC coils.

I'm with pitbull on this one. Considering they're used, if you think they are worth that much more that you would ask for cash, then keep them. 99 talls will be too short, unless you plan to stop your coilovers at 1.5" with a heavy bumper.

the 94 8wraps that i have are only 4 years old at most, the cruiser they came off of had all new suspension put on at the dealer just before my friends bout it in 09, they where replaced in 08. an 16 of those months we where gone over seas on deployment so they saw no use. if i sell my 8 wraps im gonna have to find another set at some point to possibly replace them with, cause yes 99 talls will be way too short for the heavy toytec coilovers. so i will only be using them for a short amount of time like a year or so. the more i think about the 9.25 wraps i think they will be just too tall unless i constantly carry a load

I'd say keep the 8 wraps and put them on your truck if you like a level/semi-raked look. That's the setup I have (8 wraps and Toytec coilovers with 650lb springs). It sits perfectly. A little rake, but not really noticeable. The 9.25 wraps will give you a lot of rake unless you really crank up the pre-load on the coilovers to get ~4 inches of lift. If you have a bunch of tools and stuff in the back all the time, the 9.25 wraps might work out though...

9.25 wraps will give you close to a level ride when loaded up with a bumper though...

Plus, they flex like crazy. I need stiffer shocks as my rear is super squishy.

you have 9.25 wrap coils? im planning on doing and aftermarket rear bumper with winch in the back tucked up under where the spare used to be...
