Leaf spring bushing size?

CAN-03runner

I'd like to change the bushings in my leaf springs. Needless to say I couldn't loosen the bolts last night.

Question is, in general do aftermarket springs keep the same size bushings or they all use their own different sizes making hard to replace the bushings.

I have the energy suspension kit for 84-85 4runner, I got from a local 4x4 shop that had them lying around for pretty cheap. My understanding is there is enough bushings for the shackles and the frame mount.

What have your experiences been changing spring bushings?

We've had great results from the E. Suspension bushing kit. I don't know what type of use age your looking for in the truck, but we use our 1990 4runner for round town, hwy, and some logging type road applications(ie no real off road). The bushings were a huge improvement over the factory units(which had only 50k on them). Now our suspension type is different then yours(control arms vs leaf springs), but we have loved the result.
