Today was day 2 in Moab and I got high-centered on some rocks as I was avoiding a sandy patch too close to the edge. I didn't get my new RCI skids on yet but have some lesser ones including a t-case skid. While trying to get off the rocks I noticed fluid (clean but kinda dark colored) leaking above the t-case skid. Any ideas where it's coming from would be appreciated.
I ended up winching myself off just fine and called it a day. I was able to wash the underside in hopes of finding the leak but other than the fluid that remained on the top side of the skid I can't see anything new leaking.
It looks like it's not leaking anymore and over the last hour or two there's only two small drops under the truck. While stuck I'll guess the leak was about 1/2 cup (my wife's estimate) to less than 1/4 cup (my estimate) at the most.
I tried to provide answers to anything you guys can come with. Does the t-case have a vent of any kind? It drove fine for the drive home in H4 and L4, all under hood fluids look fine. Again, TIA.
